Handmade with Intention: The New Direction for Flower Diary by Jess

Oh, What a Year It’s Been! 🌸

What a year ! Back in March, I officially launched my new name — Flower Diary by Jess. The name instantly felt right, capturing everything I love about flowers, nature, and finding beauty in small moments.

But when that name change happened, there was still one thing I hadn’t fully figured out — the direction I wanted to take my creations. So here we are: my first blog post and a peek into all the things I’m dreaming up as we move toward 2026.

A Fresh Start (That Starts Now)

A new year usually means a fresh start, right? For some, that happens on January 1st — but for me, it starts a little earlier. I believe that if you want something to grow, you have to plant the seeds now.

For a while, I’ve been feeling like I’ve been creating endlessly without much structure or connection between pieces. My work has felt scattered — and I’ve even heard from a few of you that it’s been a bit confusing to understand what Flower Diary by Jess is all about. And honestly, I couldn’t agree more.

That realization pushed me to take a step back and really think about how I want to move forward.

The New Direction for Flower Diary by Jess

Going into the new year, Flower Diary by Jess will be focusing on small-batch handmade goods and curated collections released each month.

So, what does this mean for my current products?
Each collection will be created in small batches — usually between 1–10 of each item, making every piece truly one of a kind.

I’ll also be introducing more online shopping options, designed to make it easier for you to order pieces that ship safely and beautifully. When I attend local markets, I’ll be showcasing that month’s curated collection — a snapshot of what’s inspiring me at that time.

This shift will help me reduce overstock, work more sustainably, and create collections that feel more intentional and cohesive.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As 2026 approaches, I feel a renewed sense of clarity and excitement. Each new collection will tell its own story — inspired by flowers, nature, and the changing seasons — while staying true to the heart of what Flower Diary by Jess is all about: thoughtful, handmade creations that bring joy, whimsical and meaning.

To everyone who’s supported me along this journey, thank you. Your encouragement and feedback mean so much. I can’t wait to share what’s next with you — one small batch at a time.
